A message from “Jeff”

This is the contents of an email sent to me from “Jeff”. I have many friends from the Sioux tribe and from the Northern Cheyenne tribe who had ancestors at Wounded Knee. Orlando is not the largest mass shooting in history. Here is why:

Democracy is two wolves & a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.

The recent killing in Orlando is NOT the largest mass killing in US history….if they keep advertising it as such, soon it will be! History is being distorted, altered, omitted and re-written for PC agendas. When we grew up, we relied on the library, school, Encyclopedia Britannica, and legitimate, honorable journalists etc. for our factual history and information. Now we have American News Media and the Wikipedia. If you don’t like something in Wikipedia, you can change it….. after a while, the perverted version will become history.

Terrible Mass Shooting

Remember history……………………………..

THE LARGEST MASS SHOOTING IN US HISTORY HAPPENED December 29,1890. When 297 Sioux Indians at Wounded Knee Creek on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota were murdered by federal agents & members of the 7th Cavalry who had come to confiscate their firearms “for their own safety and protection”. The slaughter began after the majority of the Sioux had peacefully turned in their firearms. The Calvary began shooting, and managed to wipe out the entire camp. 200 of the 297 victims were women and children.

Wounded Knee was among the first federally backed gun confiscation attempts in United States history. It ended in the senseless murder of 297 people.

The Second Amendment, the right of the people to take up arms in defense of themselves, their families, and property in the face of invading armies or an oppressive government… Enemies both foreign and domestic.

The Second Amendment was written by people who fled oppressive and tyrannical regimes in Europe, and it refers to the right of American citizens to be armed for defensive purposes, should such tyranny arise in the United States.

Wounded Knee is the prime example of why the Second Amendment exists, and why we should vehemently resist any attempts to infringe on our Rights to Bear Arms. Without the Second Amendment we will be totally stripped of any ability to defend ourselves and our families. And if Hillary were alive in 1891, she would have said, “That was a long time ago, and what difference does it make now”?

Anyone who thinks they can trust the Federal Government has not studied the history of Native Americans.

Do I trust the federal government? Sort of. It depends on who is in charge and what is happening in the world. Do I trust the government to put the truth in my history text book? No, not at all and above is the reason why. This is not the only story that the US government likes to distort. There are many more stories where the US government committed atrocities against the aboriginal people of this continent.

Now that we know history is being altered, what are we going to do about it? We have identified a problem: History lies and the US government alters its past. What is the solution and how do we get there? Please put your ideas in the comments bellow.

  1. I just reposted your very nice post, with a Foreword. I thought it would automatically post (REBLOG) in the header, as well as put a message as such here in the reply of your site; I guess it’s not as “Automattic” as I thought (hah-hah)! It seems clear that I attributed authorship to both you and Jeff at your site. I hope you like it and hope you think I did justice to your piece.

Here is how it posts on my blog: https://newsnotes1.wordpress.com/2016/07/22/a-message-from-jeff/
