I came across a non-profit organization called Isabella’s Closet in my area. I got together with the founder and talked with her about how I could help. We discussed the idea of creating a charity drive at my high school and ran with it. I helped Isabella’s Closet by creating their website at stahljanice.wordpress.com.
From there, it was time to get organized. I created a list of items that I would need to collect and a little blurb about Isabella’s Closet and the mission of the project. I created flyers, posters, announcements, and handouts to get the word out.
I set up a meeting with my principal on November 2, 2017 to discuss the charity drive. He liked the idea and had me make some corrections. We decided that from November 13 to November 17, Project Starting Over would take place.
